Postcode Soldiers

Postcode Soldiers are a 3 piece blues rock band based in London, UK, formed in 2024 by guitarist vocalist songwriter EJ Cranny (Brixton HillBillies, Street Talk) and bassist Valerie Lockett (Delicate AWOL) and joining them on drums is Nico Molina (Motor Loco) who completes the dynamic lineup perfectly.  

Postcode Soldiers launched music videos on YouTube in 2025 with positive responses from both fans and pro's alike.Recording in the studio for their upcoming debut album is now complete and due for launch this year.   

EJ: EJ's musical career began in Ireland as a bassist. With his love for American country, blues and rock and roll and had included an impressive history of 20 Years as a pro sharing the stage with some of the best Irish rock musicians such as Eric Bell of Thin Lizzy. His natural talent for songwriting started early and he went on to achieve a No1 hit with the Irish band Street Talk in Europe in the 1980's. Cranny would be drawn further to London dedicating himself to songwriting, playing electric guitar and singing and had formed a handful of his own bands such as the well loved Brixton Hillbillies who completed 2 studio albums. 

Val: Val had friend's in London and New York who played at pro level.  After a few years she would be gigging, recording in avant-garde, pop, rock, blues and indie bands, a regular on the Camden indie scene and also some tours in UK/Europe with Delicate AWOL. She's also played live on radio, featuring on John Kennedy XFM and CMR (Europe) 

Nico: Nico hails from Argentina, coming from a jazz, symphonic and Berklee background. He's toured extensively with various rock and blues bands most notably Motor Loco with whom he played festivals with such as Cosquin Rock, Pepsi Music, Quilmes Rock in USA.
